Activities and Timetable.The Cedarwood Centre offers a wide range of daily activities for the community to participate in, offering help, advice, friends and support. Hosted both by our staff, and made available by external organisations and volunteers.

Play / Family Groups
Our Play / Family Groups are available from 10:00am till 3pm Tuesday to Thursday and from 10:00am till 2:30pm on a Friday. All sessions are FREE and no booking is required. You can simply turn up and join in. Activities during these times include:
Arty Clarty Play
Laughs, giggles, mayhem, mess and muck is always a hit for those young and old alike. Babies, toddlers, teenagers, parents, grandparents can get involved as much or as little as required.
Cedarwood Movers
Come along with the little ones and get moving! Raising your heartbeat, so you get a little out of breath on a regular basis by running, dancing, playing all helps to keep you fit, healthy and energetic.
Sensory Play
Sensory exploration and play are an essential, valuable part of early development. Our session introduces young children to the various senses through fun and educational methods.
General Play
Letting kids be kids! Children get to play with others, including toys and games, with the opportunity for parents to meet and make new friends and offer support.
Breastfeeding Support
A dedicated group for essential advice and information for new mothers and families.
Peer Led Session
Aiming to support and encourage people to follow their own journey. Peer supporting can offer many an increase in confidence, new experiences and knowledge, potentially leading onto further personal developments.
Story Time
A dedicated group, reading books to kids.
