What is an EcoBrick?

An EcoBrick is a plastic bottle filled, and packed tightly with none recyclable materials so that it can be used as a building block for a structure. Pretty much becoming a brick, made of plastic.

What are EcoBricks used for?

EcoBricks are being sent to developing countries to construct furniture and buildings where common building materials are unavailable. An EcoBrick is a cheap alternative and helps protect the environment.

How to make an EcoBrick.

Why should you make EcoBricks?

An EcoBrick is a great way to stop plastics that cannot be recycling going to a landfill. It also helps with your local rubbish management, as you'll be putting less plastic into your bin meaning fewer trips out to the wheelie bin! Not only that, but the EcoBricks can be used to build structures for local communities that may not be able to afford wood and bricks. An EcoBrick helps the environment by keeping none-recyclable plastic out of landfill, and back into the community for creative projects.
